Effects of flow velocity on growth of juvenile cobia [PDF]
The objective of this study was to investigate the growth rate and feed conversion ratio (FCR) of juvenile cobia, Rachycentron canadum, in different flow velocities. In experiment A, fifteen groups of fish with an initial mean weight of 14.35 g were reared for 28 days in one of five flow velocities: 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 cm/s.

Analysis of the chemical properties of salted cobia (Rachycentron canadum) [PDF]
Abstract Aquaculture of cobia (Rachycentron canadum) is still incipient in Brazil, as well as the sale of its meat. However, there is a market demand for this product in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The salting process for the meat of cultivated cobia is a way of preserving and marketing the product for the growers.

Younger adults showed stronger links between bimanual visuomotor control and white‐matter integrity in frontoparietal pathways. These associations were absent in older adults, suggesting that balanced cortical structure and intact white‐matter connectivity support efficient motor coordination primarily in early adulthood.

ABSTRACT The consequences of mis‐managing vulnerable stocks (i.e., those with low productivity and high susceptibility to depletion) are high and potentially permanent. To support sustainable fisheries management, stock assessments can be improved by increasing the quantity and quality of fishery‐independent survey (i.e., survey) data.
