The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

The Logical Structure of Cronbach's Coefficient Alpha, and its Precision in Estimating Reliability under Measurement Models Assumptions. [PDF]
The study examined three main research questions: 1- What is the logical structure of Cronbach's Coefficient Alpha and its implications" 2- Under what measurement models and cicumstances the use of Coefficient Alpha produce either accurate or biased ...

Packaging of Macroscopic Material Payloads: Needs, Challenges, Concepts, and Future Directions
This review introduces a unified framework that decomposes any macroscopic packaging system into the payload, packaging material, and packaging strategy and combines them into a conceptual packaging equation: packaging strategy = payload + packaging material.

On canonical metrics on Cartan-Hartogs domains
The Cartan-Hartogs domains are defined as a class of Hartogs type domains over irreducible bounded symmetric domains. The purpose of this paper is twofold. Firstly, for a Cartan-Hartogs domain $\Omega^{B^{d_0}}(\mu)$ endowed with the canonical metric $g(\

A Primer on Reliability via Coefficient Alpha and Omega
Reliability is an important property to established for a measurement instrument. There are several types of reliabilities and each with its own purposes. However, whether warranted or not, internal consistency via coefficient alpha has been the standard for establishing the reliability of a measurement instrument for over 60 years. During this time,

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

This study investigates thermo‐chemical processes during high‐temperature testing of two commercial MgO‐C brick grades, one containing 47.5 wt.% MgO‐C recyclate. Using ETV, DTA/TG‐MS, XRD, and SEM/EDS/EBSD, mechanisms such as carbothermal reduction of magnesia, impurity incorporation into the secondary MgO surface layer, and calcium‐rich phase ...
