Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

A Novel Spectral-Efficient Coherent Radio-Over-Fiber Link With Linear Digital-Phase Demodulation

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2020
In this paper, a novel spectral-efficient coherent radio-over-fiber (RoF) link with linear digital phase demodulation is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. At the transmitter, to make an efficient use of the optical power and spectra, an intensity-

Coherent detection spectroscopy

open access: yesPhysica, 1969
Various methods of optical spectroscopy are compared, with special emphasis on resolution and acceptance of the systems. It is shown that coherent detection with a laser as a local oscillator has important advantages for specific applications in astronomical spectroscopy and interferometry, especially in the infrared.

Detection of coherence-disrupting and coherence-conferring alterations in text [PDF]

open access: yesMemory & Cognition, 1985
In a study phase, subjects were presented with sentence pairs which were either coherent or anomalous. In a subsequent recognition test, each sentence pair was presented either in its original form or with one word changed. The changed word either disrupted the coherence of a previously coherent sentence pair or conferred coherence on a previously ...

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Joint Implementation Method for Clutter Suppression and Coherent Maneuvering Target Detection Based on Sub-Aperture Processing with Airborne Bistatic Radar

open access: yesRemote Sensing
An airborne bistatic radar working in downward-looking mode confronts two major challenges for low-altitude target detection. One is range cell migration (RCM) and Doppler migration (DM) resulting from the relative motion of the radar and target.

An Automatic Bias Voltage Control Technique for High-order Modulation Formats

open access: yesGuangtongxin yanjiu, 2022
In order to maintain the stability of the transmitter to ensure the quality of the output signal, we propose a novel technique of automatic bias control based on the pilot signal that can be used in high-order modulation formats.

Probabilistic shaping for ROF system with heterodyne coherent detection

open access: yes, 2017
We investigate and compare the performance of normal and probabilistic shaping (PS) 16-ary quadrature amplitude modulation (16QAM) in a photonic vector millimeter-wave (mm-wave) signal generation system adopting heterodyne coherent detection.
