Nature of the inhibitory effect of collagenase on phosphodiesterase activity.

open access: hybridJournal of Lipid Research, 1985
The level of phosphodiesterase (PDE) activity is lower in collagenase-isolated human fat cells than in adipose tissue fragments. The inhibition is not species-specific since collagenase also inhibits PDE in rat adipose tissue and bovine heart.

Cachectin/tumor necrosis factor stimulates collagenase and prostaglandin E2 production by human synovial cells and dermal fibroblasts [PDF]

open access: hybridJournal of Experimental Medicine, 1985
Cachectin/TNF (tumor necrosis factor), an endotoxin-induced murine macrophage hormone implicated in the pathogenesis of cachexia and shock, has been found capable of stimulating collagenase and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production by isolated human ...

Different collagenase delivery for Dupuytren disease in public hospitals

open access: yesAustralasian Journal of Plastic Surgery, 2020
**Background**: The delivery protocol of collagenase Clostridium histolyticum (collagenase) injection for Dupuytren’s disease is variable, due to limited evidence for any one approach and widespread ‘off-label’ delivery occurring in Australia.

Taxonomic and Enzymatic Characterization of Flocculibacter collagenilyticus gen. nov., sp. nov., a Novel Gammaproteobacterium With High Collagenase Production

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2021
Collagens from marine animals are an important component of marine organic nitrogen. Collagenase-producing bacteria and their collagenases play important roles in collagen degradation and organic nitrogen recycling in the ocean.

The effect of collagenase, water and calcium chloride on the removal of Salmo salar (salmon) and Oncorhynchus mykiss (trout) pin bones [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The aim of this study was to determine the influence of the fillet structure on the deboning force required to remove salmon and trout pin bones. Salmon and trout fillets with differing fillet structure were used, in order to study the importance of the ...
