Stability and Enhancement of Berry Juice Color
Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2004Attractive color is one of the main sensory characteristics of fruit and berry products. Unfortunately, the color of red juices is unstable and easily susceptible to degradation, leading to a dull and weak juice color. This study was designed to investigate the color stability and copigmentation of four different berry juices enhanced by phenolic acids

Color and Color Stability of Stone
1997The color of structural and monumental stone has challenged the architect for the most effective and harmonious appearance in architectural design since ancient times. The utilization of different color shades of stone has given new life to many existing structures.

Color stability of temporary restorative materials
The Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, 1979In this study it was shown that: 1. There was a statistically significant initial color difference in materials labeled shade 65. 2. Rough materials darkened significantly more than polished materials. 3. There was not statistically significant over all difference in the amount of staining between air-cured and pressure-cured samples. 4.

Core Stability of Minimum Coloring Games
Mathematics of Operations Research, 2004In cooperative game theory, a characterization of games with stable cores is known as one of the most notorious open problems. We study this problem for a special case of the minimum coloring games, introduced by Deng et al. (1999), which arise from a cost allocation problem when the players are involved in conflict.

ABSTRACT A series of frits in which the ratio of boric oxide to sodium oxide was varied was milled with various color oxides and the stability of the color was noted at different temperatures. It was found that a frit having a boric‐oxide content in excess of the sodium‐oxide content was preferable.

Influence of opacity on the color stability of a nanocomposite
Clinical Oral Investigations, 2014The aim of this study was to evaluate the color stability in relation to the opacity of the nanocomposite Filtek Ultimate (3M ESPE), by immersing the specimens in different types of natural and artificial staining solutions.Eighty disks of the shades A1 body (A1B), A1 dentine (A1D), A1 enamel (A1E), and white enamel (WE) (n = 4) of the nanocomposite ...

COLOR STABILITY OF PEELED 'SARIASLAMA' CHESTNUTS
Acta Horticulturae, 2014The potential use of citric acid, ascorbic acid and Na-metabisulphite for the control of browning of peeled 'Sariaslama' chestnut was investigated. 'Sariaslama' chestnuts were dipped into solutions of 0, 1, 2 and 4 mM citric acid, ascorbic acid and Na-metabisulphite, placed in trays over-wrapped with plastic film and stored at 4 degrees C for 10 d ...

Color and Color Stability of Structural and Monumental Stone
1973The color of structural and monumental stone challenges the engineer and architect to achieve with it the most effective and harmonious appearance in structural or architectural design. The utilization of different color shades of stone has given new life to many existing structures. Rock — or “stone” — is composed of one or more minerals. Stone colors

Automatic Stabilization of Background Color in Color TV Receivers
IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, 1977Since the introduction of color in T. V. broadcast in the middle fifties, millions of color T. V. receivers have been manufactured. To day's products of the industry differ substantially from the early models.

Color stability of denture base polymers.
The International journal of prosthodontics, 1994One light-polymerized, three heat-polymerized, and three autopolymerized denture base polymers were exposed to coffee, tea, water at 50 degrees C +/- 1 degree C, as well as artificial sunlight and water, and evaluated for color stability. The color characteristics were determined using a computer-controlled spectrophotometer.
