The Essential Role of String-Derived Symmetries in Ensuring Proton-Stability and Light Neutrino Masses [PDF]
The paper addresses the problem of suppressing naturally the unsafe d=4 as well as the color-triplet mediated and/or gravity-linked d=5 proton-decay operators, which generically arise in SUSY-unification.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Influence of Food Pigments and Thermal Aging on the Color Stability of Denture Base Resins
Color stability of acrylic resins is essential for preserving the aesthetic appearance of denture bases over time. This study explores how food pigments and thermal changes affect the color stability of commonly used denture base resins.

Gravitational stability and dynamical overheating of stellar disks of galaxies
We use the marginal stability condition for galactic disks and the stellar velocity dispersion data published by different authors to place upper limits on the disk local surface density at two radial scalelengths $R=2h$.

Temporal-mode continuous-variable cluster states using linear optics [PDF]
I present an extensible experimental design for optical continuous-variable cluster states of arbitrary size using four offline (vacuum) squeezers and six beamsplitters. This method has all the advantages of a temporal-mode encoding [Phys. Rev. Lett. 104,

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Effect of Ion Release on Color Stability of Zirconia: A Comparative Study
Zirconia ceramics are widely used in dentistry, but maintaining long-term color stability remains challenging. This study investigated the combined effects of specimen thickness, immersion duration, and aging of coloring solutions on the color stability ...

Evaluation of the Effect of Different Herbal Tea on Discoloration of Different Kinds of Composite [PDF]
Objectives: The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of six herbal teas on the color stability of two types of nanohybrid and one microhybrid resin composite. Materials and Methods: 70 disc-shaped specimens, 210 in total (7*2mm), were fabricated

Color-magnetic flux tubes in quark matter cores of neutron stars
We argue that if color-superconducting quark matter exists in the core of a neutron star, it may contain a high density of flux tubes, carrying flux that is mostly color-magnetic, with a small admixture of ordinary magnetic flux.
