Approximate Solutions of Combinatorial Problems via Quantum Relaxations
Combinatorial problems are formulated to find optimal designs within a fixed set of constraints and are commonly found across diverse engineering and scientific domains.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

PSO-Guided Construction of MRD Codes for Rank Metrics
Maximum Rank-Distance (MRD) codes are a class of optimal error-correcting codes that achieve the Singleton-like bound for rank metric, making them invaluable in applications such as network coding, cryptography, and distributed storage.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Some combinatorial constructions for optical orthogonal codes
A (v, k, ρ) optical orthogonal code C is a family of (0, 1)-sequences of length v and weight k satisfying the following two properties: (1) ∑0⩽t⩽v−1xtxt + i ⩽ ρ, for any x = (x0, x1, …, xv − 1) ∈ C and any integer i ≢ 0 (mod v); (2) ∑0⩽t⩽v − 1xtyt + i ...

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

In this paper, we generalize the construction of locally repairable codes (LRCs) by leveraging pairwise balanced designs (PBDs) and balanced incomplete block designs (BIBDs) to construct codes with nonuniform locality or nonuniform availability.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in
