Case Report: Characterization of a RAC2 R68W homozygous activating mutation causing combined immune deficiency

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
RAC2-related immunodeficiency is a rare inborn error of immunity with a broad clinical spectrum ranging from neonatal severe combined immunodeficiency to atypical combined immunodeficiency diagnosed later in life.

Single‐Cell Dissection Reveals Immune Dysregulation After CD5 or CD7‐Directed Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell RNA/TCR/BCR sequencing reveals that 5CAR therapy in T‐ALL induces T‐cell exhaustion, reduces EBV‐associated TCRs, lowers TCR/BCR diversity, and increases NK/DC/monocyte activation and function. In contrast, 7CAR therapy reduces multiple pathogen‐associated TCRs, enhances NK cell activation and function, decreases monocyte activation, and ...

Omenn syndrome: a case report and review of literature

open access: yesDermatologica Sinica, 2011
Exfoliative dermatitis or erythroderma in infancy is rare. Clinicians need to be alert to the possible diagnosis of Omenn syndrome (OS), a rare form of combined immunodeficiency in infants presenting with recurrent infections, erythroderma ...

Combined Immunodeficiency in Patients With Trichohepatoenteric Syndrome

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2018
The syndromic diarrhea/trichohepatoenteric syndrome (SD/THE) is a rare and multi-system genetic disorder caused by mutation in SKIV2L or in TTC37, two genes encoding subunits of the putative human SKI complex involved in RNA degradation.

Engineered Mesenchymal Stem Cell–NK Cell Complexes for Spatially Targeted and Functionally Revitalized Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IL‐15‐engineered stem cell–NK cell complexes, assembled via bioorthogonal chemistry, enable effective lung cancer immunotherapy. Abstract Natural killer (NK) cells represent a powerful immunotherapeutic strategy due to their intrinsic cytotoxicity and ability to target tumor cells independently of antigen presentation.

Safety and Efficacy of Adoptive Transfer of Stem Cell Memory Enriched Virus Specific T Cells against CMV and EBV

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study finds that CD8⁺ TSCM cells exhibit superior self‐renewal, differentiation, and antiviral activity. Transcriptome and epigenome analyses highlight MAPK cascade regulation in TSCM cells. In vivo, virus‐specific TSCM cells show enhanced persistence and tumor protection.

Single‐Nucleus Multi‐Omics Reveals Hypoxia‐Driven Angiogenic Programs and Their Epigenetic Control in Sinonasal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐nucleus multi‐omics profiling of sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma unveils a hypoxia‐driven angiogenic axis. A specific hypoxic tumor subpopulation orchestrates endothelial tip cell differentiation via epigenetically regulated ADM and VEGFA secretion.
