Serostatus‐Specific Prognostic Profiles and Phenotype‐Dependent Therapeutic Windows in Autoimmune Encephalitis: A Multicenter Cohort Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background While autoimmune encephalitis (AE) outcomes vary, serostatus‐specific prognostic determinants and institutional clustering effects remain poorly characterized. We aimed to delineate the distinct prognostic architecture of AE, identifying serostatus‐specific risk factors and potential therapeutic windows.

Combined Chiefs of Staff 465: firm recommendations with regard to operations "Anvil" and "Overlord".

open access: yes, 2016
The matter of arriving at firm decisions with regard to Overlord and Anvil is pressing. If delayed much longer it will definitely interfere with the preparation of forces and will jeopardize meeting the target dates.

Tri-modality in vivo imaging for tumor detection with combined ultrasound, photoacoustic, and photoacoustic elastography

open access: yes
A comprehensive understanding of a tumor is required for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. However, currently, there is no single imaging modality that can provide sufficient information. Photoacoustic (PA) imaging is a hybrid imaging technique

Artificial Intelligence in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Beyond Visual Scoring: Computational Computed Tomography Analysis for High‐Resolution Computed Tomography–Based Quantification of Interstitial Lung Disease in Inflammatory Rheumatic Disease

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with inflammatory rheumatic disorders (IRDs). High‐resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is widely considered the gold standard for the noninvasive assessment of ILD; however, its interpretation is constrained by substantial interobserver variability and the ...

Patients improve, patterns persist: longitudinal stability of RA joint involvement patterns

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective Rheumatoid arthritis is a heterogeneous disease. Data‐driven approaches, from synovial histology to joint involvement patterns (JIPs), have sought to define clinically meaningful subgroups. Whether these subgroups represent stable phenotypes or transient disease states remains unclear.

Non-surgical management of knee osteoarthritis: a stepped conservative care paradigm for early-stage disease and high-risk populations

open access: yesFrontiers in Surgery
Knee osteoarthritis (KOA) is a leading cause of chronic pain and physical disability in the aging global population, placing an immense burden on healthcare systems.

Unsupervised Machine Learning Identifies Shared Biomechanical and Clinical Variation in Individuals with Knee Osteoarthritis and High Body Mass Index

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective High body mass index (BMI ≥ 27 kg/m2) and aberrant gait biomechanics are primary risk factors for knee osteoarthritis (KOA), yet the specific loading patterns linked to clinical disease features remain unclear. Unsupervised machine learning (ML) was used to identify vertical ground reaction force (vGRF) waveform modes of variation and ...

Investigation of Resonance Characteristics of More Than 10 000 Metal‐Coated Silicon MEMS Cantilevers Using Machine Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
More than 10 000 metal‐coated silicon MEMS cantilevers are fabricated and characterized to build a large‐scale experimental dataset spanning multiple vibrational modes. Machine learning algorithms are benchmarked to predict resonance frequency and quality factor, with ensemble based models achieving accuracy approaching experimental uncertainty.
