Correlation of combustor acoustic power levels inferred from internal fluctuating pressure measurements [PDF]
Combustion chamber acoustic power levels inferred from internal fluctuating pressure measurements are correlated with operating conditions and chamber geometries over a wide range. The variables include considerations of chamber design (can, annular, and

From Operando Investigations to Implementation of Ni‐MOF‐74 Oxygen Evolution Electrocatalysts
This work shows how understanding the transformations of Ni‐MOF‐74 during oxygen evolution reaction via operando characterizations leads to the development of a novel, amorphous Ni metal organic compound (Ni‐MOC*), which achieves high current densities both in a three‐electrode cell and in an anion exchange membrane water electrolyzer (AEM‐WE) with a ...

Leveraging Electrons for Electrochemical CO2 Capture Using a Hemi‐Labile Iron Complex
We present an electrochemical CO2 capture system using coordination complex with an iron center and hemi‐labile ligands. This system achieves an electron utilization of 1.43 by leveraging oxidation‐state‐dependent ligand coordination, enabling efficient CO2 separation from flue gas with low energy consumption and high cyclability.

Peroxide‐Driven Nitrogen Fixation Reactions for Energy Storage Applications
Sustainable ammonia synthesis from air as a hydrogen energy carrier and storage medium is demonstrated via an efficient dual‐step electrochemical approach at ultralow overpotential (−0.1 V vs. RHE). Atmospheric nitrogen is first oxidized to nitrate using in situ generated peroxide, then directly converts to ammonia on the same electrode, achieving ...

Copper Single‐Atom Catalyst for Efficient C─S Coupling in Thioether Synthesis
We report the first single‐atom catalyst for C─S cross‐coupling, featuring atomically dispersed Cu sites on mesoporous carbon nitride. The catalyst enables efficient, selective, and recyclable thioether synthesis under mild conditions and on a gram scale.

Flame theory and combustion technology [PDF]
The study of combustion processes is in a sufficiently early stage so that there is no strong connection between combustion theory and the technology of combustion chamber development.

Hydrogen is an energy carrier, produced from renewable and nonrenewable resources. It can be stored in a variety of materials and transported to distant locations. This article reviews progress in hydrogen technology by looking at environmental and economic impact, cost analysis, and policy support at government level as way forward for bringing it to ...
