Trapped-Vortex-Combustor: a Novel Technology in the Gas Turbines [PDF]
In the present study, the evolution of using TVC as a novel technology in gas turbine combustors is investigated. The reported data suggest that different types of TVCs (AFRL and GE products) havethe potential toprovide low lean-blow out (LBO) and a wide

Burner development for efficient combustion of biogas
Now in metallurgical production energy resources demand is almost completely satisfied by gaseous fuel. Biogas obtained during organic waste processing is considered as an alternative and cheaper type of fuel. The experience of biogas application has shown that in most modern burners decrease of efficiency and limitation of the range of load regulation

Additively Manufactured Porous Ceramics as Tunable Dielectrics for Passive Temperature Sensing
Porous ceramic lattices, 3D‐printed from a multicomponent oxide ink, are integrated with LC resonators for passive wireless temperature sensing. By tuning porosity, the dielectric properties and RF response are engineered to produce distinct resonant frequency shifts with temperature. The results establish a structure‐driven approach to customizing the

The local combustion efficiency and the local heat release rate in an upright cylindrical combustion chamber having a diameter of 100 mm and a length of about 1000 mm, were experimentally determined from the contents of combustion products. The burnt gases sampled from ten positions in the combustion chamber were analyzed with gaschromatograph.
