Problems of the dynamics and the origin of comets [PDF]
We consider some problems concerning the dynamics of comets far from the Sun. In this connection an estimate for the different hypotheses of the comet origin is given.

Background The analysis of chromatin integrity has become an important determinant of sperm quality. In frozen-thawed bovine sperm, neither the sequence of post-thaw injury events nor the dynamics of different types of sperm DNA breaks are well ...

Cometary Dynamics—Formation and Evolution of the Oort Cloud
In this review, the formation of the Oort Cloud is illuminated from several aspects. One is the history of the subject with an outline of the fundamental discoveries by Öpik, Oort and Hills. It is argued that the basic reason for judging Oort as the real

In this work, we present results that simultaneously constrain the dust size distribution, dust-to-gas ratio, fraction of dust re-deposition, and total mass production rates for comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko.

Sea cucumber mutable collagenous tissue (MCT) is a remarkable collagen‐based material which can rapidly undergo large changes in stiffness through transiently bound effector proteins. Here, we investigate the hierarchical structure and mechanical response of MCT from Cucumaria frondosa across length scales with a wide range of methods, also exploring ...

Realistic Models for the Comet Dynamical Environment [PDF]
An outgassing jet model is presented in support of spacecraft navigation for future missions to comets. The outgassing jet is modelled as an emission cone while the comet is modelled as a uniform density triaxial ellipsoid. The comet’s motion about the Sun is included in the model.

Fluorene‐functionalized spiro‐phenothiazine (PTZ‐Fl) exhibits strong Li+ affinity and thermal stability, enabling a PCE of 25.75% in small‐area cells and 22.07% in 25 cm2 modules. Under ISOS‐L3 conditions, PTZ‐Flbased devices retain over 80% efficiency after 1000 hours, demonstrating superior stability and scalability compared to spiro‐OMeTAD for next ...

Recent Advances in Ferrite‐Based Materials for Biomedical Applications: A Comprehensive Review
Ferrite nanoplatforms are presented as tunable biomedical materials in which synthesis control, cation engineering, defect/morphology regulation, and surface functionalization govern structure–property–bioactivity relationships. These design strategies enable multifunctional applications including MRI contrast, magnetic hyperthermia, targeted drug ...
