Iodine content of commercially-prepared cat foods
New Zealand Veterinary Journal, 1992Twenty-eight varieties of commercially-available cat food (23 canned, 5 dried) were analysed for iodine. The iodine concentration varied from less than 0.37 micromol/kg to 41.8 pmol/kg, wet weight (less than 1.48 micromol/kg to 167 micromol/kg, dry weight).

The histamine content of commercial pet foods

The change in histamine content of open cans of pet food stored in a refrigerator or at room temperature was also investigated.

Phenolic content of commercial olive oils
European Food Research and Technology, 2003The phenolic composition of commercial virgin olive oils (Picual, Hojiblanca, Arbequina and Cornicabra varieties) was studied by high performance liquid chromatography, sampling oils over 1 year. Oils sold in March displayed the lowest polyphenol concentration, particularly in secoiridoid aglycons.
