Single-Ended-to-Balanced Power Divider with Extended Common-Mode Suppression and Its Application to Differential 2×4 Butler Matrices

open access: yes, 2021
© 1963-2012 IEEE. A new type of wideband single-ended-to-balanced (SETB) power divider (PD) is presented. The design achieves high level and extended frequency range of common-mode (CM) suppression.

Dual PI3K/AKT and CDK4/6 inhibition reveals selective sensitivity in an SHH medulloblastoma stem cell model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Novel Inverter‐Fed Motor Drive System With Common‐Mode Voltage Suppression and End‐Surge Slew Rate Suppression Function

open access: yesHigh Voltage
Electric locomotives on the horizon will integrate SiC inverters, promising quicker switching and lower losses than traditional setups. However, in addition to the steep rising edge, the inverter‐fed motor drive system faces challenges such as high ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Composite Sliding Mode Control for a Free-Floating Space Rigid-Flexible Coupling Manipulator System

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems, 2013
The flexible space manipulator is a highly nonlinear and coupled dynamic system. This paper proposes a novel composite sliding mode control to deal with the vibration suppression and trajectory tracking of a free-floating space rigid-flexible coupling ...

Ultra-compact (80 mm2) differential-mode ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filters with common-mode noise suppression

open access: yes, 2021
This paper presents a novel approach for the implementation of balanced ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filters with common-mode noise suppression. To a first-order approximation, the differential-mode filter response is described by the canonical circuit ...
