Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Design of compact balanced ultra‐wideband bandpass filter with half mode dumbbell DGS
A new compact balanced ultra‐wideband (UWB) bandpass filter using half mode dumbbell defected ground structure (DGS) is presented. To realise the UWB response, the ‘T’ shape multiple‐mode resonator with short‐ended stub is employed.

S-shaped complementary split ring resonators and their application to compact differential bandpass filters with common-mode suppression [PDF]
This letter presents an S-shaped complementary split ring resonator (S-CSRR) for application in compact differential filters. The working principle of the proposed S-CSRR is explained and a circuit model is developed and validated through electromagnetic

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Tunable balanced bandpass filter with high common‐mode suppression
This Letter presents a novel tunable balanced bandpass filter with high common‐mode (CM) suppression by using discriminating coupling. Four half‐wavelength resonators terminated with varactors are utilised to obtain the tunable responses. The high CM suppression is realised by discriminating coupling between feeding structures and resonators, which ...

On the delamination suppression in structural joints by Z-fibre pinning [PDF]
The main objective of this paper is to investigate the benefits of Z-fibre pinning to improve the bonding strength of composite joints. The problem is addressed from a design point of view in order to develop a simulation methodology that can be ...
