I think (that) something’s missing: Complementizer deletion in nonnative e-mails
Sociolinguistic competence is not often examined in nonnative English acquisition. This is particularly true for features where the variants are neither stylistically nor socially constrained, but rather are acceptable in all circumstances.

Symmetries and hidden symmetries of $(ε, d_L)$-twisted knot complements [PDF]
In this paper we analyze symmetries, hidden symmetries, and commensurability classes of $(\epsilon, d_L)$-twisted knot complements, which are the complements of knots that have a sufficiently large number of twists in each of their twist regions. These knot complements can be constructed via long Dehn fillings on fully augmented links complements.

Finiteness in South Slavic Complement Clauses
This paper shows that the distribution of (non‑)finiteness in the South Slavic languages reflects an implicational scale along an independently attested semantic complementation hierarchy (e.g., Givón 1980). We suggest that in the South Slavic languages,

SUBSTITUTING COMPLEMENTS [PDF]
The presence of multiple sellers in the provision of (nonsubstitutable) complementary goods leads to outcomes that are worse than those generated by a monopoly (with a vertically integrated production of complements), a problem known in the economic literature as complementary oligopoly and recently popularized in the legal literature as the tragedy of

The moss Physcomitrella patens is unique among plants in that homologous recombination can be used to knock out genes, just like in yeast. Furthermore, transformed plasmids can be rescued from Physcomitrella back into Escherichia coli, similar to yeast ...

Complementation of Subquandles [PDF]
Saki and Kiani proved that the subrack lattice of a rack $R$ is necessarily complemented if $R$ is finite but not necessarily complemented if $R$ is infinite. In this paper, we investigate further avenues related to the complementation of subquandles.

Nucleopolyhedroviruses (NPV, Baculoviridae) that infect lepidopteran pests have an established record as safe and effective biological insecticides. Here, we describe a new approach for the development of NPV-based insecticides.
