SHADER METAMODEL AS A COMPONENT OF AN INTERACTIVE APPLICATION ARCHITECTURE

open access: yesInformatika, 2016
This article introduces the rendering metamodel as an architecture basis for complicated graphi-cal applications. The model separates abstract logical and algorithmic approaches used in modern computer graphics theory from problems of computational ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

A domain-specific language based approach to component composition, error-detection, and fault prediction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Current methods of software production are resource-intensive and often require a number of highly skilled professionals. To develop a well-designed and effectively implemented system requires a large investment of resources, often numbering into ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

A globally-applied component model for programmable networking

open access: yes, 2003
We argue that currently developed software frameworks for active and programmable networking do not provide a truly generic approach to the development, deployment, and management of services.

Analyzing the Meaning in the Historical and Contemporary Architecture of Semnan, Focusing on the Phenomenological Views of Norberg-Schults [PDF]

open access: yesتوسعه پایدار شهری
The issue of meaning is one of the discussed components in phenomenology in architecture. Understanding the meaning of the architectural work in the contemporary period compared to the past is something that can be studied.

Component architecture with runtime type definition

open access: yes2010 East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS), 2010
The component-based approach to software design and development is being focused on. By analyzing the main ideas of this approach, their currently existing implementations, their limitations and promising lines of development we suggest a new component architecture which extends capabilities of existing component technologies.

Metastasis on pause: How dormant tumor cells stay hidden within the tumor microenvironment and evade immune surveillance

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...
