Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Compact Weighted Composition Operators and Multiplication Operators between Hardy Spaces
We estimate the essential norm of a compact weighted composition operator 𝑢𝐶𝜑 acting between different Hardy spaces of the unit ball in ℂ𝑁. Also we will discuss a compact multiplication operator between Hardy spaces.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Volterra Type Integral Operators and Composition Operators on Model Spaces
We study some mapping properties of Volterra type integral operators and composition operators on model spaces. We also discuss and give out a couple of interesting open problems in model spaces where any possible solution of the problems can be used to ...

Cyclic Composition operators on Segal-Bargmann space
We study the cyclic, supercyclic and hypercyclic properties of a composition operator Cϕ on the Segal-Bargmann space ℋ(ℰ), where ϕ(z) = Az + b, A is a bounded linear operator on ℰ, b ∈ ℰ with ||A|| ⩽ 1 and A*b belongs to the range of (I – A*A)½ ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Fredholm composition operators [PDF]
Summary: Fredholm composition operators on a variety of Hilbert spaces of analytic functions on domains in \(\mathbb{C}^n\), \(N\geq 1\), are characterized.

At low cell density, SETDB1 and YAP1 accumulate in the nucleus. As cell density increases, the Hippo pathway is gradually activated, and SETDB1 is associated with increased YAP1 phosphorylation. At high cell density, phosphorylated YAP1 is sequestered in the cytoplasm, while SETDB1 becomes polyubiquitinated and degraded by the ubiquitin–proteasome ...

Invertible and normal composition operators on the Hilbert Hardy space of a half–plane
Operators on function spaces of form Cɸf = f ∘ ɸ, where ɸ is a fixed map are called composition operators with symbol ɸ. We study such operators acting on the Hilbert Hardy space over the right half-plane and characterize the situations when they are ...
