Strong Stability Preserving Two-Derivative Two-Step Runge-Kutta Methods
In this study, we introduce the explicit strong stability preserving (SSP) two-derivative two-step Runge-Kutta (TDTSRK) methods. We propose the order conditions using Albrecht’s approach, comparing to the order conditions expressed in terms of rooted ...

Bilinear Form and Two Bäcklund Transformations for the (3+1)-Dimensional Jimbo-Miwa Equation
With Bell polynomials and symbolic computation, this paper investigates the (3+1)-dimensional Jimbo-Miwa equation, which is one of the equations in the Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy of integrable systems.

MDSuite: comprehensive post-processing tool for particle simulations
Particle-Based (PB) simulations, including Molecular Dynamics (MD), provide access to system observables that are not easily available experimentally. However, in most cases, PB data needs to be processed after a simulation to extract these observables ...

Computational fluid dynamics applied to gas-liquid contactors. [PDF]
In this paper a `hierarchy of models¿ is discussed to study the fluid dynamic behaviour of gas-liquid bubble columns. This `hierarchy of models¿ consists of a Eulerian-Eulerian two fluid model, a Eulerian-Lagrangian discrete bubble model and a Volume ...

Background Geometric parameters have been proposed for prediction of cerebral aneurysm rupture risk. Predicting the rupture risk for incidentally detected unruptured aneurysms could help clinicians in their treatment decision.

Computational Steering for Computational Fluid Dynamics
Most computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations require massive computational power, which is usually provided by traditional high-performance computing (HPC) environments. Often, simulations are executed on a massive number of CPU cores (O(1000)) that are hosted in a remote supercomputing center or an in-house supercomputing facility.

Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulation of Clearance Effect in High Solid Loading Polydisperse Solid-Liquid Mixing [PDF]
A high solid loading concentration of solid-liquid mixing was investigated to observe the effect of ratio C, Clearance, and T, diameter tank, with C/T 0.33; C/T 0.25 and C/T 0.17 on local volume of hydrodynamic and spatial distribution of polydisperse ...

Angiotensin II (AngII), a neuropeptide, interacts with amyloid‐β (Aβ), a key player in Alzheimer's disease. This study reveals that AngII reduces Aβ aggregation and membrane disruption in vitro. Biophysical assays and molecular modeling suggest AngII binds disordered Aβ forms, potentially modulating early amyloidogenic events and contributing to ...

This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.
