Using texts of Isaiah Berlin, Raymond Aron and Leo Strauss, we attempt to show that contemporary relativism is a recent phenomenon and that it rests on much stronger hypothetical claims than mere skepticism.

Brucella canis is a Gram‐negative bacterium that causes canine brucellosis, a zoonotic disease with serious implications for public health and the global economy. The upper catchment of the Claro river in the central Chilean Andes is described in terms of volcanic and glacial landforms seeking to establish a relative chronology associated to events during the late Pleistocene and Holocene, which is summarized in seven phases and presented as a conceptual model.
