Listening to Hong Kong children's perspectives through pretend play
Abstract Quality in early childhood education and care (ECEC) has become an increasing concern in recent years. The issue has been regularly discussed by different stakeholders. However, the rising concern regarding quality in ECEC has not seriously taken into account children's perspectives.

Abstract Character education research is often constrained by blunt methodological tools. Surveys capture breadth without depth; case studies offer richness but lack replicability; and randomised controlled trials (RCTs), though indispensable at the policy level, are costly, disruptive and ill‐suited to everyday practice with individual pupils.

Affinity Peptides With pH Sensitivity for the Enrichment of CD38+ Cells
ABSTRACT The selective enrichment of cell populations based on surface markers is critical for the advancement of gene and cell therapies. Current antibody‐based cell isolation methods, such as fluorescence‐ and magnetic‐activated cell sorting (FACS and MACS), offer high specificity but are limited by scalability, cost, and potential adverse effects on

A ROS‐responsive, zwitterionic nanocage enables stable, intranasal siRNA delivery to glioblastoma, promoting deep tumor penetration via non‐degradative pathways and trigeminal nerve transport. This platform achieves durable gene silencing and tumor suppression, offering a non‐invasive, storage‐stable strategy for treating glioma and other neurological ...

ABSTRACT The rational design of hybrid nanomaterials with precisely controlled properties remains a central challenge in materials science. While atomically precise gold nanoclusters (Au‐NCs) offer molecule‐like control over a metallic core, tuning their optoelectronic behavior via surface engineering is often empirically driven.

Peptide Marriages: Modular Assembly of Multi‐Agonist Therapeutics
A modular polyethylene glycol (PEG) scaffold enables rapid assembly of dual peptide agonists using strain‐promoted azide–alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) and copper‐catalysed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). Glucagon‐like peptide‐1 (GLP‐1) and amylin agonists were combined with controlled valency, yielding low‐picomolar activity and receptor‐selective ...

This research presents a novel 1,4‐π‐functionalized calix[6]arene with enhanced interactions with dialkylammonium axles. We investigate threading behavior in CDCl3, highlighting how exo‐rim π‐functionalization affects binding affinity and stereoselectivity.

Combining the chiral bispidine ligand L1 with MnCl2 affords coordination polymers (CPs) with an unusual topology for this family of compounds, consisting of orthogonally packed ribbon‐like one‐dimensional (1D) chains. Their behavior was investigated through single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal exchange with aromatic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and ...

Per‐ethylene‐glycol (EG)‐functionalized resorcin[4]arenes containing 12, 16, and 20 EG groups namely compounds 1d, 1e, and 1f, respectively, were prepared and found to self‐assemble, in organic solvents, into hexameric capsules. These capsules are more dynamic than the ones prepared based on alkyl substituted resorcin[4]arenes.
