Gribov's Confinement Scenario [PDF]
I give a brief account of Gribov's scenario of supercritical charges in QCD. Gribov's equation for the Green function of light quarks and its derivation from the corresponding Dyson-Schwinger equation are described.

The Associations Between Chronic Active Lesions and White Matter Disease: A 7 Tesla Imaging Study
ABSTRACT Background The relationship between paramagnetic rim lesions (PRLs) and surrounding normally appearing white matter (NAWM) disease, potentially contributory to the associations seen between PRLs and clinical impairment, is underexplored. Objectives To assess whether PRLs correlate with a greater degree of NAWM injury in early MS.

Confinement of matter fields in compact (2+1)-dimensional QED theory of high-$T_{c}$ superconductors
We study confinement of matter fields in the effective compact (2+1)-dimensional QED theory of high-$T_{c}$ superconductors. It is shown that the monopole configurations do not affect the propagator of gauge potential $a_{\mu}$.

INF2‐Related Charcot–Marie–Tooth Disease in a Japanese Cohort: Genetic and Clinical Insights
ABSTRACT Background INF2 mutations cause focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease (CMT). Accurate genetic diagnosis is critical, as INF2‐related FSGS is typically resistant to immunotherapy yet rarely recurs after transplantation, and its associated neuropathy can mimic treatable immune‐mediated disorders such as ...

Determination of the strong coupling alpha_s from the QCD static energy [PDF]
We obtain a determination of the strong coupling alpha_s in quantum chromodynamics, by comparing perturbative calculations for the short-distance part of the static energy with lattice computations.

Quantitative Assessment of Upper Limb Ataxia Using a Virtual Reality‐Based Evaluation System
ABSTRACT Objective Cerebellar ataxia impairs coordination and balance, reducing quality of life. Conventional clinical scales, including the Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) and the International Cooperative Ataxia Rating Scale (ICARS), are widely used to assess ataxia but are limited by subjectivity and inter‐rater variability ...

Interband polarized absorption in InP polytypic superlattices [PDF]
Recent advances in growth techniques have allowed the fabrication of semiconductor nanostructures with mixed wurtzite/zinc-blende crystal phases. Although the optical characterization of these polytypic structures is well eported in the literature, a ...

ABSTRACT Background Mitofusin 2 (MFN2) is a major causative gene for axonal Charcot – Marie – Tooth disease type 2A (CMT2A), with a wide phenotypic spectrum. Comprehensive large ‐ scale genotype – phenotype association studies are essential for understanding disease pathogenesis and improved clinical management.

Infernal instabilities in negative-triangularity plasmas with negative central shear
A systematic numerical investigation is carried out to understand magnetohydrodynamic stability of the ideal infernal-kink instability in tokamak plasmas with both negative triangularity (neg-D) shaping and negative central shear for the equilibrium ...
