Detecting Competitive Behaviors in Conflicts
2019We developed a method for detecting aggressive agents in egress simulations with a cellular-automata model. There are two types of agents, which are normal agents and aggressive agents. Aggressive agents tend to push out others in conflicts and try to move to their target cell aggressively.

Probabilistic Conflict Detection for Robust Detection and Resolution
12th AIAA Aviation Technology, Integration, and Operations (ATIO) Conference and 14th AIAA/ISSMO Multidisciplinary Analysis and Optimization Conference, 2012Any prediction of the future position and trajectory of an aircraft will contain errors due to both uncertainty caused by the environment and imperfect and incomplete information available to the prediction system. These prediction errors complicate conflict detection and resolution resulting in late or missed conflict detections and false alerts ...

Logic-based conflict detection for distributed policies
2008Summary: Policies are used to describe rules that are employed to modify (often distributed) system behaviour at runtime. Typically policies are created by many different people and there are many policies leading naturally to inconsistency between the policies, a problem that has been recognised and termed policy conflict.
