Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Analysis of m-Modified Conformal Vector Fields on the Tangent Bundle With Synectic Lift Metrics
In this study, we introduce the notion of an m-modified conformal vector field, which represents a natural generalization of the classical conformal vector field concept. This extension allows for a broader class of vector fields that conform to modified

Weyl conformal geometry vs Weyl anomaly
Weyl conformal geometry is a gauge theory of scale invariance that naturally brings together the Standard Model (SM) and Einstein gravity. The SM embedding in this geometry is possible without new degrees of freedom beyond SM and Weyl geometry, while ...

Discrete Differential Operators for Computer Graphics [PDF]
This thesis presents a family of discrete differential operators. Since these operators are derived taking into account the continuous notions of differential geometry, they possess many similar properties.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Overdetermined Systems, Conformal Differential Geometry, and the BGG Complex [PDF]
This is an expanded version of a series of two lectures given at the IMA summer program “Symmetries and overdetermined systems of partial differential equations”. The main part of the article describes the Riemannian version of the prolongation procedure for certain overdetermined systems obtained recently in joint work with T.P. Branson, M.G. Eastwood,

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Q-Curvature, Spectral Invariants, and Representation Theory
We give an introductory account of functional determinants of elliptic operators on manifolds and Polyakov-type formulas for their infinitesimal and finite conformal variations.

An osculating curve is a type of curve in space that holds significance in the study of differential geometry. In this article, we investigate certain geometric invariants of osculating curves on smooth and regularly immersed surfaces under conformal ...
