Conformational Determinants of the Activity of Antiproliferative Factor Glycopeptide [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Chemical Information and Modeling, 2013
The antiproliferative factor (APF) involved in interstitial cystitis is a glycosylated nonapeptide (TVPAAVVVA) containing a sialylated core 1 α-O-disaccharide linked to the N-terminal threonine. The chemical structure of APF was deduced using spectroscopic techniques and confirmed using total synthesis.

Conformal-Based Surface Morphing and Multi-Scale Representation

open access: yesAxioms, 2014
This paper presents two algorithms, based on conformal geometry, for the multi-scale representations of geometric shapes and surface morphing. A multi-scale surface representation aims to describe a 3D shape at different levels of geometric detail, which

Defects and perturbation

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We investigate perturbatively tractable deformations of topological defects in two-dimensional conformal field theories. We perturbatively compute the change in the g-factor, the reflectivity, and the entanglement entropy of the conformal defect at the ...

Anomalous transport independent of gauge fields

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
We show that three-dimensional trace anomalies lead to new universal anomalous transport effects on a conformally flat space-time with background scalar fields.

Scalar Field and Particle Dynamics in Conformal Frame

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
The dynamics of the scalar field and particle in a conformal frame are considered. The conformal Klein-Gordon equation describing the scalar field is transformed into the quantum Telegraph equation in Minkowski space-time.

Multichannel conformal blocks for scattering amplitudes

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
By performing resummation of small fermion–antifermion pairs within the pentagon form factor program to scattering amplitudes in planar N=4 superYang–Mills theory, we construct multichannel conformal blocks within the flux-tube picture for N-sided NMHV ...

Homogeneity and spatial variability of meteorological series in “Yachay - City of Knowledge” project area

open access: yesACI Avances en Ciencias e Ingenierías, 2013
Using Einstein’s field equations, the energy-momentum tensor components are deduced for a Morris-Thorne wormhole in a cosmological background. The embedding surfaces for these wormholes are studied and also the red shift parameter is calculated in terms ...

Scale factor duality for conformal cyclic cosmologies [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2016
The scale factor duality is a symmetry of dilaton gravity which is known to lead to pre-big-bang cosmologies. A conformal time version of the scale factor duality (SFD) was recently implemented as a UV/IR symmetry between decelerated and accelerated phases of the post-big-bang evolution within Einstein gravity coupled to a scalar field.

CONFORMAL FACTOR DYNAMICS IN THE 1/N EXPANSION [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 1995
We suggest to consider conformal factor dynamics as applying to composite bound states, in the framework of the 1/N expansion. In this way, a new model of effective theory for quantum gravity is obtained. The renormalization group (RG) analysis of this model provides a framework to solve the cosmological constant problem, since the value of this ...
