Wormholes in Cosmological Background
Using Einstein’s field equations, the energy-momentum tensor components are deduced for a Morris-Thorne wormhole in a cosmological background. The embedding surfaces for these wormholes are studied and also the red shift parameter is calculated in ...

Bulk reconstruction of AdS d+1 metrics and developing kinematic space
The metrics of the global, Poincaré, and Rindler AdS d+1 are explicitly reconstructed with given lightcone cuts. We first compute the metric up to a conformal factor with the lightcone cuts method introduced by Engelhardt and Horowitz.

Some Rigidity Results Related to Conformal Vector Fields
This article explores properties of conformal vector fields on a Riemannian manifold, focusing on conditions that lead to the manifold being isometric to the Euclidean space. Given a conformal vector ζ with conformal factor σ on a Riemannian manifold N,g,

High Accuracy 2D-DOA Estimation for Conformal Array Using PARAFAC
Due to the polarization diversity (PD) of element patterns caused by the varying curvature of the conformal carrier, the conventional direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation algorithms could not be applied to the conformal array.

String corrections to circular Wilson loop and anomalies
We study string quantum corrections to the ratio of latitude and circular Wilson loops in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super-Yang-Mills theory at strong coupling. Conformal gauge for the corresponding minimal surface in AdS5 × S 5 is singular and we show that

Conformational tuning of a DNA-bound transcription factor [PDF]
Transcription factors are involved in many cellular processes that take place remote from their cognate DNA sequences. The efficiencies of these activities are thus in principle counteracted by high binding affinities of the factors to their cognate DNAs. Models such as facilitated diffusion or dissociation address this apparent contradiction.

Wormholes practicable in a cosmological background
For a Morris-Thorne wormhole in a cosmological background we analize the embedding surfaces and deduce an expression for the proper radial distance taking a conformal factor Ω = 1. Further, given the existence of an exotic material (negative energy

slˆ(n)N WZW conformal blocks from SU(N) instanton partition functions on C2/Zn
Generalizations of the AGT correspondence between 4D N=2 SU(2) supersymmetric gauge theory on C2 with Ω-deformation and 2D Liouville conformal field theory include a correspondence between 4D N=2 SU(N) supersymmetric gauge theories, N=2,3,…, on C2/Zn, n ...

The conformal factor and DiffS1/S1
Abstract Two-dimensional gravity coupled with an open string is considered to geometrically construct a string field theory following Bowick and Rajeev. The phase space of this system can be thought of as an extended loop space, and is in fact a Kahler manifold. Each loop carries a conformal factor.

Towards AdS distances in string theory
The AdS Distance Conjecture proposes to assign a notion of distance between AdS vacua in quantum gravity. We perform some initial developments of this idea.
