A Novel Decellularized Fibrocartilage Graft Promotes Tympanic Membrane Repair
An off‐the‐shelf decellularized porcine meniscus fibrocartilage graft (MEND) is engineered for pediatric tympanoplasty. Featuring a microchannel architecture that promotes host cell invasion, MEND rapidly closes tympanic membrane perforations and fully remodels in vivo, outperforming fascia and matching cartilage grafts while avoiding donor‐site ...

Aqueous Two‐Phase Bioinks for Discrete Packing and Compartmentalization of 3D Bioprinted Cells
Aqueous two‐phase systems (ATPS) enable the formation of biomimetic interfaces crucial for tissue engineering. However, clinical translation remains limited by the challenge of precisely controlling cellular compartmentalization. Here, we developed ATPS biomaterial inks for 3D bioprinting allowing tuneable droplet formation via NaCl modulation.

We describe a microfluidic tumor‐stroma co‐culture model, engineered to resist collagen‐hydrogel contraction driven by fibroblast activity. Surface silanization with APTES covalently anchors the matrix to the chip, while Genipin crosslinking progressively increases stiffness and elasticity without harming cells. This supports >10 days of co‐culture and

Conics in the Sum and Maximum Metrics
Neste estudo, investigamos a geometria das cônicas - circunferência, parábola, elipse e hipérbole - utilizando as métricas da Soma e do Máximo. Analisamos e caracterizamos, analiticamente as equações dessas cônicas com essas métricas específicas.Palavras

This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

Multiplicity Structures on Conics
Let C ? P 3 be a conic. A multiplicity structure on C is a closed subscheme Z ? P 3 such that Supp Z = Supp C . The multiplicity of Z is defined by the ratio deg Z /deg C , which we prove to be an integer.

ABSTRACT The ascent of novel alternative methods in drug development spotlights the dual needs for improved biological fidelity to in vivo, along with reproducibility, especially in regulatory applications. The need for pre‐clinical models of patient‐derived endometriosis lesions motivates the development of a vascularizable, completely synthetic ...
