THE HYPERBOLOID OF REVOLUTION OF ONE NAPPE A RULED SURFACE GENERATING CONICS
The paper intends to underline the property of the hyperboloid of revolution of one nappe to generate on its surface, when it is cut by a plane, the three known conics (ellipse, hyperbola and parabola).Cutting this surface by a plane, we find the ...

Conic Parameterization in PG(2,25)
The main aim of this paper is to parameterize the conics form through the inequivalent 5-arcs in PG (2,25) using one-one correspondence property between line and conic. The inequivalent 6-arcs in PG (2,25), also have been computed with some examples.

Inspired by natural silicified wood, a biomimetic mineralized chitin‐derived aerogel is constructed. It can withstand 81 000 times its own weight, and its backside temperature is 130.4°C after exposure to ∼1300°C butane flame for 600 s, exhibiting high‐strength, fire‐resistance, and super thermal‐insulation properties.

This paper presents a digital microfluidics‐based technique for transferring and reconfiguring soft nanomembranes. Laser‐machined nanothin membranes are picked up, transported, and aligned via tailored surface tension and the actuation of water droplets, enabling the development of flexible electronics, the integration of functional materials on 3D ...

Crossing limit cycles for a class of piecewise linear differential centers separated by a conic
In previous years the study of the version of Hilbert's 16th problem for piecewise linear differential systems in the plane has increased. There are many papers studying the maximum number of crossing limit cycles when the differential system is ...

Conformal Metallosaccharide Hybrid Films for Protecting Wood Surfaces From Environmental Damage
Ti‐ribose hybrid films fabricated by molecular layer deposition form a conformal and uniform coating on wood surfaces, which provides water repellence, dimensional stability, and resistance to acidic and alkaline environments, while preserving the natural appearance.

Quadratic surfaces and conics around us
This thesis introduces the conics and their occurrence, ,,around us". It also refers to the interconnection of geometry and normal life. The first part describes the theoretical basic of conics, their equations and construction options.

The moduli space of (111)-polarized abelian surfaces is unirational [PDF]
We prove that the moduli space $\cal A$11lev of (1,11)-polarized Abelian surfaces with level structure of canonical type is birational to Klein's cubic hypersurface in P4.

A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

A Unified General Theory of Conic Sections via the Conic Radical
In this paper, we bring forth several new general formulae in the classic study of conics in the Analytic Geometry: the coordinates of all vertices and focal points of arbitrary parabolas, ellipses, and hyperbolas; lengths for all latera recta from any ...
