Conjugated polymer information system
Synthetic Metals, 2001A new polymer information system (PolymerlS) for the design and analysis of conjugated and several other classes of novel polymers is being developed. Detailed information on electronic, optical, thermo-mechanical and other relevant properties of over 20,000 electron and ion conducting polymers and polymer objects have been collected and organized in a

Effective conjugation length of π-conjugated systems
Chemical Physics Letters, 2004Abstract The optical absorption of ordered and disordered π-conjugated molecules is described on the same microscopic footing. This gives a concise picture of the length dependence of the optical absorption of π-conjugated systems.

HOLE CONJUGATION WITHIN RELATIVISTIC FERMIONIC SYSTEM
International Journal of Modern Physics A, 1990For a many-body relativistic fermionic system the concept of a hole state is useful. Consequently, the introduction of a field operator corresponding to these hole states is of technical convenience. We define the transformation that takes place from a particle to a hole and construct the corresponding hole-field-operator.

?, ? Conjugation in organometallic systems
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1979In concluding it should be noted that the data presented in the present work support the results of earlier chemical studies [1, 2, 7], insofar as they show that conjugation of the C-Hg bond with C=O and C=C bonds is realized in the mercury derivatives of the acyclic and monocyclic ketones and aldehydes, and their ally 1-type analogs.

Organometallic π-Conjugated Systems
Bulletin of the Chemical Society of Japan, 1995Abstract Chemistry of transition metal complexes of organic conjugated systems, e.g. 1,3-diene, cyclobutadiene, and hexapentaene, is reviewed mainly based upon the author’s investigation. Some recent examples of dπ–pπ conjugated systems with multiple metal–metal and metal–carbon bonds are also described.

Aromatic stability of heterocyclic conjugated systems
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1985The graph-theoretical approach for calculation of the aromatic stability of conjugated polycyclic hydrocarbons is extended here to polycyclic systems having a single heteroatom. Advantages of this algebraic approach, which yields expressions for the molecular resonance energies, are discussed. In particular, the relative stabilities of positional ...

[Conjugal progressive systemic sclerosis].
La Revue de medecine interne, 2006Familial occurrence of progressive systemic sclerosis is unusual. The occurrence of conjugal scleroderma is exceptional. We report here a case of systemic sclerosis in a wife and husband who both developed the onset of illness within a 10-year period. Solvent exposure was noted. The etiology of systemic sclerosis remains unknown.

ISG15 is a ubiquitin-like protein that is upregulated on treatment with interferon. ISG15 is considered to be covalently conjugated to cellular proteins through a sequential reaction similar to that of the ubiquitin conjugation system consisting of E1/E2/E3 enzymes: UBE1L and UbcH8 have been reported to function as E1 and E2 enzymes, respectively, for ...

Reactivity of Conjugated Systems
2020Let’s join up some dots. We have seen that conjugated systems are more stable than nonconjugated systems. We have seen the evidence for this. We have also seen that conjugation leads to stabilization of carbocations and carbanions that are intermediates in a lot of organic...
