A Novel Cloud Approach for Connected Vehicles

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2023
Cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITSs) are being deployed all around the world. Shortly, in addition to vehicles, bicycles, pedestrians, buses, and all moving equipment will be compatible with C-ITS.

Simplifying the in-vehicle connectivity for ITS applications [PDF]

open access: yesEAI Endorsed Transactions on Energy Web, 2015
In-vehicle connectivity has experienced a big expansion in recent years; car manufacturers are very active in this sense, and are proposing OBU oriented solutions. This effort is justified by the user demands for always-on connectivity. However, currently available OBUs do not provide the desired flexibility and simplicity of use that would be ...

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

LiNEV: Visible Light Networking for Connected Vehicles

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
DC-biased optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (DCO-OFDM) has been introduced to visible light networking framework for connected vehicles (LiNEV) systems as a modulation and multiplexing scheme. This is to overcome the light-emitting diode

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Connected Vehicles

open access: yes
Vehicle network is a paradigm that presents the concept of a connected vehicle with increased economy and safety via vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communications. Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) play a critical role in managing all connected vehicle (CV) network technologies on the road worldwide.

Cooperative Content Precaching Scheme Based on the Mobility Information of Vehicles in Intermittently Connected Vehicular Networks

open access: yes, 2022
Intermittently connected vehicular networks (ICVNs) consist of vehicles moving on roads and stationary roadside units (RSUs) deployed along roads. In ICVNs, the long distances between RSUs and the large volume of vehicular content lead to long download ...

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

Car-following method based on inverse reinforcement learning for autonomous vehicle decision-making

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems, 2018
There are still some problems need to be solved though there are a lot of achievements in the fields of automatic driving. One of those problems is the difficulty of designing a car-following decision-making system for complex traffic conditions.
