Mechanical behavior of 'Niagara Rosada' grape berry detachment Comportamento mecânico do destacamento de bagos de uva 'Niagara Rosada'

open access: yesEngenharia Agrícola, 2011
The 'Niagara Rosada' grape is the main Brazilian table grape belonging to the Labrusca family. It develops medium, cylindrical and compact bunches with berries presenting a pinkish skin and a foxy flavor that is valued in the Brazilian market.

Root stacks, principal bundles and connections

open access: yesBulletin des Sciences Mathématiques, 2012
We investigate principal bundles over a root stack. In case of dimension one, we generalize the criterion of Weil and Atiyah for a principal bundle to have an algebraic connection.

Multi‐omics and low‐input proteomics profiling reveals dynamic regulation driving pluripotency initiation in early mouse embryos

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

The curvature object for fundamental-group connection associated with congruence of hypercentred planes

open access: yesДифференциальная геометрия многообразий фигур, 2018
The congruence of hypercentred planes is investigated in n-dimensional projective space. The congruence is a holonomic smooth manifold. It is proved that curvature object for the fundamental-group connection in the principal fibre bundle associated ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Shape operator of an $ (n-1) $-dimensional distribution on an $ n $-dimensional manifold and their classification [PDF]

open access: yesریاضی و جامعه
This paper aims to study of shape operator of an $ (n-1) $-dimensional distribution on an $ n $-dimensional smooth manifold. In this study firstly we state formulae for the shape operator and its symmetric and anti-symmetric components and in ...

Locally homogeneous connections on principal bundles over hyperbolic Riemann surfaces

open access: yes, 2020
Let $g$ be locally homogeneous (LH) Riemannian metric on a differentiable compact manifold $M$, and $K$ be a compact Lie group endowed with an $\mathrm {ad}$-invariant inner product on its Lie algebra $\mathfrak{k}$.

Algebra of Principal Fibre Bundles, and Connections

open access: yes, 2000
We put together some of the efforts by several people of making aspects of fibre bundle theory into algebra. The initiator of these efforts was Charles Ehresmann, who put the notion of groupoid and groupoid action in the focus of fibre bundle theory in general, and in connection theory in particular.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Quantitative proteomic analysis reveals different characteristics of bladder cancer cells after exposure to bisphenol A

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical in plastics, exerts dual effects on bladder cancer cells: low doses promote growth and migration, while high doses suppress growth and migration. Multi‐omics and bioinformatics reveal BPA acts via MAPK and inflammatory pathways.
