Feasibility of a Personal Neuromorphic Emulation
The representation of intelligence is achieved by patterns of connections among neurons in brains and machines. Brains grow continuously, such that their patterns of connections develop through activity-dependent specification, with the continuing ...

Tracking intracellular dynamics through extracellular measurements. [PDF]
Extracellular recordings of neuronal cells are frequently a part of in vitro and in vivo experimental studies as a means of monitoring network-level dynamics. Their connections to intracellular dynamics are not well understood. Single-unit recordings are

Gauge theory on nonassociative spaces
We show how to do gauge theory on the octonions and other nonassociative algebras such as `fuzzy $R^4$' models proposed in string theory. We use the theory of quasialgebras obtained by cochain twist introduced previously. The gauge theory in this case is

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Moduli spaces of irregular singular connections
In the geometric version of the Langlands correspondence, irregular singular point connections play the role of Galois representations with wild ramification.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

This paper is concerned with approximation on variable Lρp(·) spaces associated with a general exponent function p and a general bounded Borel measure ρ on an open subset Ω of Rd. We mainly consider approximation by Bernstein type linear operators. Under

The image of society in the theory of Islamic literature
One of the important principles in the theory of Islamic literature is to look at any social phenomenon through its true location in the context of the social system that is subject to the divine laws that govern the movement of history and ...

KLK7, a tissue kallikrein‐related peptidase, is elevated in advanced colorectal cancer and associated with shorter survival. High KLK7 levels in ascites correlate with peritoneal metastasis. In mice, KLK7 overexpression increases metastasis. In vitro, KLK7 enhances cancer cell proliferation, migration, adhesion, and spheroid formation, driving ...
