Soft clay is kind of problem in building and highway foundation design. This type of soils, have low coefficient consolidation (Cv) parameter. This condition will cause that soils have very long duration in consolidation process.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Influence of Polypropylene Fibre (PF) Reinforcement on Mechanical Properties of Clay Soil
This study investigated the effects of polypropylene fibre (PF) reinforcement on the mechanical behaviour of clay soil. Using clay soil and polypropylene fibres from China’s Inner Mongolia and Hebei Provinces, respectively, a series of soil samples with ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Coefficient of consolidation from the linear segment of the t1/2 curve
The coefficient of consolidation is commonly determined by fitting the Terzaghi theoretical time factor, T, versus average degree of consolidation, U, relationship to the measured oedometer consolidation curve.

Effect of Degree of Saturation on Consolidation Parameters of Fine-Grained Soils
Terzaghi (1943)'s theory of consolidation phenomenon has some limitations for unsaturated geological environments in nature. Additionally, soils are subjected to consolidation tests under partially saturation conditions.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Under-consolidation characteristics of an offshore marine clay from Yellow Sea, China
Consolidation characteristics of marine soils are crucially important to ocean reclamation, pile foundation design and construction, etc. A series of oedometer tests were conducted on samples from three different depths in north Yellow Sea, China, to ...
