Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Parameterizations of Delaunay Surfaces from Scratch
Starting with the most fundamental differential-geometric principles we derive here new explicit parameterizations of the Delaunay surfaces of revolution which depend on two real parameters with fixed ranges. Besides, we have proved that these parameters

We consider conformally flat hypersurfaces in four dimensional space forms with their associated Guichard nets and Lamé's system of equations. We show that the symmetry group of the Lamé's system, satisfying Guichard condition, is given by translations ...

Deformed Heisenberg charges in three-dimensional gravity
We consider the bulk plus boundary phase space for three-dimensional gravity with negative cosmological constant for a particular choice of conformal boundary conditions: the conformal class of the induced metric at the boundary is kept fixed and the ...

A yeast model of 5‐oxoproline accumulation reveals a general toleration to 5‐oxoproline
Using a yeast model, we show that even high accumulation of 5‐oxoproline causes only mild cellular stress and does not trigger oxidative stress. Instead, cells adapt by activating efflux pumps and diverse protective pathways, suggesting that previously proposed harmful effects of 5‐oxoproline may arise from indirect metabolic imbalances rather than the

On the nondegeneracy of constant mean curvature surfaces [PDF]
We prove that many complete, noncompact, constant mean curvature (CMC) surfaces $f:Σ\to \R^3$ are nondegenerate; that is, the Jacobi operator $Δ_f + |A_f|^2$ has no $L^2$ kernel. In fact, if $Σ$ has genus zero and $f(Σ)$ is contained in a half-space, then we find an explicit upper bound for the dimension of the $L^2$ jernel in terms of the number of ...

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

This thesis is concerned with Hopf hypersurfaces of Kähler and nearly Kähler manifolds and gives special emphasis to the cases of hypersurfaces of complex projective spaces and of the 6-sphere endowed with its nearly Kähler almost complex structure ...

On Ribaucour transformations and applications to linear Weingarten surfaces
We present a revised definition of a Ribaucour transformation for submanifolds of space forms, with flat normal bundle, motivated by the classical definition and by more recent extensions.
