FEBS Letters, EarlyView.Aging reshapes the gut microbiome (↓SCFA‐producing commensals; ↑pro‐inflammatory outputs), shifting circulating metabolites (↓SCFAs; ↑LPS, ↑TMAO, ↑PAA) that act at the BBB to increase nonspecific transcytosis, alter transport, and promote astrocyte reactivity, heightening brain vulnerability.

Design of straight bevel gear for pitting resistance [PDF]
FME Transactions, 2018 Based on the Tredgold geometric approximation, a transparent contact stress capacity model for straight bevel gears is presented. A bevel load factor is defined which provides a kinetic link between the physical bevel gear and virtual spur gear.
