Overcoming the Trade‐Off Between Magnetic Coupling and Electrical Insulation in Soft Magnetic Materials via Nanochain Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study employs a nanochain engineering approach combined with an in situ oxidation strategy to fabricate self‐insulating iron‐based magnetic nanochains, addressing the challenge of balancing magnetic coupling and electrical insulation in soft magnetic materials.

A review on continuous wave functional near-infrared spectroscopy and imaging instrumentation and methodology [PDF]

open access: greenNeuroImage, 2014
This year marks the 20th anniversary of functional near-infrared spectroscopy and imaging (fNIRS/fNIRI). As the vast majority of commercial instruments developed until now are based on continuous wave technology, the aim of this publication is to review ...

Single-Molecule Continuous-Wave Terahertz Rectification Spectroscopy and Microscopy

Nano Letters, 2023
We report rectification spectroscopy (RS) for single molecules performed with continuous-wave terahertz (CW THz) radiation at the tunneling junction of a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) at 8 K. CW THz-RS serves as a new technique in single-molecule vibrational and magnetic excitation spectroscopy besides inelastic electron tunneling spectroscopy ...

Continuous Wave Multimode Amplitude THz Spectroscopy

2018 43rd International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves (IRMMW-THz), 2018
THz spectroscopy with continuous wave lasers is typically based on the frequency tuning of the lasers. This process is rather slow, and some systems require additional sophisticated postprocessing. We propose a multimode system without postprocessing requirements to reduce measurement time.
