Nonlinear continuous phase modulation

The distance results and spectral properties of nonlinear CPM signals are reported. Bit error probabilities of nonlinear CPM signals are simulated in presence of adjacent channel interference. >

(Continuous) Phase Modulation on the Hypersphere
IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2016We introduce phase modulation on the hypersphere (PMH) for load-modulated multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) transmitters with a single central power amplifier. In PMH, the peak to average ratio of the sum power before pulse shaping is 1; thus, the central power amplifier of load-modulated MIMO transmitters does not require any back-off.

A quasi-optimum receiver for continuous phase modulation
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 2000A simple receiver structure for any continuous phase modulation (CPM) scheme is introduced. Its front end is just the ordinary linear receiver followed by a subinterval sampler, eliminating the need for the standard analog matched filters. Its design is based on the decomposition of the CPM signal in the Walsh signal space.

Irregular repeat continuous phase modulation

In this scheme, CPM is used as the accumulator of IRA codes to explore its built-in phase accumulate property. A property of the degree-1 check node (doping node) ratio is investigated.
