Continuous symmetry defects and brane/anti-brane systems
We explicitly compute correlation functions with the insertion of a continuous symmetry defect in bosonic field theories. To recover its expected action on the charged operators, the definition of the defect must be modified to include a specific contact

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Continuous Empirical Wavelets Systems
The recently proposed empirical wavelet transform was based on a particular type of filter. In this paper, we aim to propose a general framework for the construction of empirical wavelet systems in the continuous case. We define a well-suited formalism and then investigate some general properties of empirical wavelet systems.

Conditions for fixed-time stability and stabilization of continuous autonomous systems
This work presents Lyapunov analysis conditions for fixed-time stability, a property where all the system's trajectories converge exactly to zero in a finite amount of time that is independent of the system's initial condition.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Metallic Biosorption Using Yeasts in Continuous Systems
Mining effluents were found to be the main source of pollution by heavy metals of the surface water in the San Pedro River in Sonora, Mexico. The overall objective of this study was to determine the biosorption of Zn, Cu, Mn, and Fe with yeasts isolated ...

For continuous-variable systems, we introduce a measure of entanglement, the continuous variable tangle ({\em contangle}), with the purpose of quantifying the distributed (shared) entanglement in multimode, multipartite Gaussian states.
