Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

On some Noetherian criteria for singular integral operators with bounded coefficients
In this paper, Noetherian conditions are established for singular integral operators with measurable and bounded coefficients. The study is carried out in spaces of integrable functions with certain weights, and the integration contour is assumed to be ...

Local Spacetime Physics from the Grassmannian
A duality has recently been conjectured between all leading singularities of n-particle N^(k-2)MHV scattering amplitudes in N=4 SYM and the residues of a contour integral with a natural measure over the Grassmannian G(k,n).

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Free-Boundary Seepage from Asymmetric Soil Channels
We present an inverse method for the study of the seepage from soil channels without lining. We give integral representations of the complex potential, velocity field, stream lines, free phreatic lines, and contour of the channel by means of Levi-Civitá ...

Product integrals II: Contour integrals
AbstractThis paper continues the joint work of the authors begun in the article “On Strong Product Integration” [J. Functional Analysis, submitted]. We consider product integrals along contours; the point of view and development is analogous to the usual complex variable theory of ordinary contour integrals.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

On approximate solution of non-elliptic singular integral equation systems in Lebesgue spaces [PDF]
We investigate in this paper problems of theoretical foundation of collocations and mechanical quadratures methods for approximate solution of singular integral equation systems in the case, when their symbols have on the integration contour a finite set

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These
