The Model of Finance Contour Integration into Organization Strategy

open access: yesВестник Российского экономического университета имени Г. В. Плеханова, 2020
Finance management is an integral part of the general system of organization management, it is considered as an object and means of strategic management, as a sum total of methods and ways, which could provide enhancement of finance sustainability and ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Contour Measurement of Object with Arbitrary Surface Using Two-Dimensional Shearography with Source Displacement

open access: yesOptics, 2022
A two-dimensional (2D) shearography with source displacement is proposed to measure object contours. Using a dual-shear shearographic setup with two movable laser sources, the full-field slopes along a pair of orthogonal shear directions were obtained ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Conserved structural motifs in PAS, LOV, and CRY proteins regulate circadian rhythms and are therapeutic targets

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Trigonometric integrals evaluated in terms of Riemann zeta and Dirichlet beta functions

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
Three classes of trigonometric integrals involving an integer parameter are evaluated by the contour integration and the residue theorem. The resulting formulae are expressed in terms of Riemann zeta function and Dirichlet beta function.

On the equivalence between SRS and PCO formulations of superstring perturbation theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
We establish the equivalence between two formulations of superstring perturbation theory, one based on integration over the supermoduli space of super Riemann surfaces (SRS), the other based on integration over the bosonic moduli space with insertions of

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
