Application of multiple regression analysis to study the relationship between eeg rhythms at persons with mental retardation

open access: yesJournal of Education, Health and Sport, 2022
Using the calculation of coefficients of multiple linear regression of two-dimensional correlation, we studied the mutual influences (functional connectivity) between the amplitudes of EEG rhythms in people with mental retardation.

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Standing wave oscillations in binary mixture convection: from onset via symmetry breaking to period doubling into chaos

open access: yes, 2004
Oscillatory solution branches of the hydrodynamic field equations describing convection in the form of a standing wave (SW) in binary fluid mixtures heated from below are determined completely for several negative Soret coefficients.

Investigating Selected Methods to Improve Aerodynamic Coefficients and Performance of UAV [PDF]

open access: yesفناوری در مهندسی هوافضا
An uncrewed aircraft (UAV) is a type of aircraft that operates without the need for a human passenger. These planes are able to fly automatically, without the need for remote control, and are mostly controlled by computers and sensors.

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Producing graphite with desired properties [PDF]

open access: yes, 1971
Isotropic or anisotropic graphite is synthesized with precise control of particle size, distribution, and shape. The isotropic graphites are nearly perfectly isotropic, with thermal expansion coefficients two or three times those of ordinary graphites ...

Stochastic Asymptotic Stabilizers for Deterministic Input-Affine Systems based on Stochastic Control Lyapunov Functions

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, a stochastic asymptotic stabilization method is proposed for deterministic input-affine control systems, which are randomized by including Gaussian white noises in control inputs.

Proposed Quality Control Charts Using Haar Wavelet Coefficients for Enhanced Production Monitoring [PDF]

open access: yesالمجلة العراقية للعلوم الاحصائية
One main problem of the traditional quality control charts, such as the Individual Observations Chart and the Moving Average Chart, is that they do not focus on monitoring the differences in the produced materials.

Identification Problem for Nonlinear Gao Beam

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
This paper deals with the identification of coefficients in the nonlinear beam model which was first introduced by D. Y. Gao in 1996. For the identification of coefficients, an optimal control approach is used.

Polynomial Stabilization with Bounds on the Controller Coefficients∗∗##

open access: yesIFAC-PapersOnLine, 2015
Let b/a be a strictly proper reduced rational transfer function, with a monic. Consider the problem of designing a controller y/x, with deg(y) < deg(x) < deg(a) – 1 and x monic, subject to lower and upper bounds on the coefficients of y and x, so that the poles of the closed loop transfer function, that is the roots (zeros) of ax + by, are, if possible,
