Ball convergence theorem for a Steffensen-type third-order method [PDF]
We present a local convergence analysis for a family of Steffensen-type third-order methods in order to approximate a solution of a nonlinear equation. We use hypothesis up to the first derivative in contrast to earlier studies such as [2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9,

Inflation Convergence Across Countries [PDF]
Ball and Sheridan (forthcoming) show that OECD countries with a history of high inflation before the 1990s have subsequently experienced a larger degree of disinflation than countries with a history of low inflation.

Transducers convert physical signals into electrical and optical representations, yet each mechanism is bounded by intrinsic trade‐offs across bandwidth, sensitivity, speed, and energy. This review maps transduction mechanisms across physical scale and frequency, showing how heterogeneous integration and multiphysics co‐design transform isolated ...

Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Kernel convergence and biholomorphic mappings in several complex variables
We deal with kernel convergence of domains in ℂn which are biholomorphically equivalent to the unit ball B. We also prove that there is an equivalence between the convergence on compact sets of biholomorphic mappings on B, which satisfy a growth theorem,
