On the Generalizations of Universality Theorem for L-Functions of Elliptic Curves

open access: yesJaunųjų Mokslininkų Darbai, 2017
In the paper, the continuous type’s universality theorem for L-functions of elliptic curves is discussed and its generalizations in three directions – for positive integer powers and derivatives of L-functions of elliptic curves as well as the weighted ...

Cumulative Social Disadvantage and Disease Activity in Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: A Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance Registry Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Social determinants of health (SDOH) contribute to juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) disparities, but most studies have assessed SDOH independently rather than cumulatively across individual, family, and neighborhood levels. Using a socioecological framework, we investigated the relationship among cumulative social disadvantage ...

A Weighted Universality Theorem for L-Functions of Elliptic Curves

open access: yesJaunųjų Mokslininkų Darbai, 2018
In the paper, a short survey on universality results for L-functions of elliptic curves over the field of rational numbers is given and weighted universality theorem is proven. All stated universality theorems are of continuous type.

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

Test and asymptotic normality for mixed bivariate measure

open access: yesStatistica, 2013
Consider a pair of random variables whose joint probability measure is the sum of an absolutely continuous measure, a discrete measure and a finite number of absolutely continuous measures on some lines called jum lines.

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Nonparametric density estimation of continuous part of a mixed measure

open access: yesStatistica, 2007
We consider a pair of random variables(X,Y) whose probability measure is the sum of an absolutely continuous measure, a discrete measure and a finite number of absolutely continuous measures on several lines(1).

Symbolic Regression and Multi‐Objective Optimization of the Flory–Huggins Interaction Parameter for Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Convergence rate of numerical solutions to SFDEs with jumps

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, we are interested in numerical solutions of stochastic functional differential equations with jumps. Under a global Lipschitz condition, we show that the pth-moment convergence of Euler–Maruyama numerical solutions to stochastic functional
