Convergence Analysis on Multi-AUV Systems With Leader-Follower Architecture

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2017
In multi-autonomous underwater vehicle (multi-AUV) systems, the convergence rate is characterized by the pace of consistency of the key state information for each member.

On the Rate of Convergence for the Pseudospectral Optimal Control of Feedback Linearizable Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper, we prove a theorem on the rate of convergence for the optimal cost computed using PS methods. It is a first proved convergence rate in the literature of PS optimal control.

Convergence rate analysis of primal-dual splitting schemes

open access: yes, 2015
Primal-dual splitting schemes are a class of powerful algorithms that solve complicated monotone inclusions and convex optimization problems that are built from many simpler pieces.

Rate of convergence of Lawson’s algorithm [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics of Computation, 1972
The algorithm of Charles L. Lawson determines uniform approximations of functions as limits of weighted L 2 {L_2} approximations. Lawson noticed from experimental evidence that the algorithm seemed to converge linearly and convergence was related to a factor which was the ratio of the largest ...

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Asymptotics of the Joint Distribution of Multivariate Extrema

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis, 2001
Let Wn and Zn be a bivariate extrema of independent identically distributed bivariate random variables with a distribution function F. in this paper the nonuniform estimate of convergence rate of the joint distribution of the normalized and centralized ...

Rate of convergence of attractors of reaction-diffusion equations with nonlinear boundary conditions

open access: yes, 2020
This paper we study the rate of convergence of the asymptotic dynamics of reaction-diffusion equations with nonlinear Robin boundary conditions. We show how the rate of convergence of the global attractors can be affected by the variation of the ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

On the O ( 1 / t ) $O(1/t)$ convergence rate of the alternating direction method with LQP regularization for solving structured variational inequality problems

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
In this paper, we propose a parallel descent LQP alternating direction method for solving structured variational inequality with three separable operators. The O ( 1 / t ) $O(1/t)$ convergence rate for this method is studied.

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.
