A surface graph based deep learning framework for large-scale urban mesh semantic segmentation
The acquisition of large-scale 3D urban scene by photogrammetry and remote sensing is becoming faster and easier in recent years. As one of the important steps to help machines understand scenarios, mesh semantic segmentation has received extensive ...

Common-Resolution Convolution Kernels for Space- and Ground-Based Telescopes
Multi-wavelength study of extended astronomical objects requires combining images from instruments with differing point spread functions (PSFs). We describe the construction of convolution kernels that allow one to generate (multi-wavelength) images with

Deep Convolutional Sum-Product Networks
We give conditions under which convolutional neural networks (CNNs) define valid sum-product networks (SPNs). One subclass, called convolutional SPNs (CSPNs), can be implemented using tensors, but also can suffer from being too shallow. Fortunately, tensors can be augmented while maintaining valid SPNs.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

A Characterization of Symmetric Stable Distributions
Characterization problems in probability are studied here. Using the characteristic function of an additive convolution we generalize some known characterizations of the normal distribution to stable distributions.

Weighted Sum of Correlated Lognormals: Convolution Integral Solution [PDF]
Probability density function (pdf) for sum of n correlated lognormal variables is deducted as a special convolution integral. Pdf for weighted sums (where weights can be any real numbers) is also presented.

Accurate and efficient computation of nonlocal potentials based on Gaussian-sum approximation
We introduce an accurate and efficient method for a class of nonlocal potential evaluations with free boundary condition, including the 3D/2D Coulomb, 2D Poisson and 3D dipolar potentials.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Binomial convolution sum of divisor functions associated with Dirichlet character modulo 8
In this article, we compute binomial convolution sums of divisor functions associated with the Dirichlet character modulo 8, which is the remaining primitive Dirichlet character modulo powers of 2 yet to be considered.
