The performance and application of cross flow fans for automotive engine cooling systems [PDF]
The work reported centres on the application of cross flow fan units to provide forced air flow over the radiator used for engine cooling. It is shown that a cooling system in which the airflow is ducted through the vehicle would lead to a significant ...

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

The environmental effect on the cooling rate of hot mix asphalt pavement [PDF]
High demand for new asphalt pavements often requires that paving be done in an unfavorable condition such as low air temperatures, high speed winds, and night construction that will influence the cooling rate thus affecting the Time Available for ...

Comparative Study of Cooling Techniques for Photovoltaic Panels: Active Cooling Techniques, A Review [PDF]
The primary goal of photovoltaic panels is to generate electricity. The efficiency of solar systems, in particular photovoltaic panels, is generally low. The performance of PV panels depends on many parameters, such as temperature.

Loss of AMBRA1 activates MAPK and angiogenesis signaling pathways in melanoma cells
Loss of AMBRA1 in melanoma cells activates multiple oncogenic pathways associated with tumor progression. Transcriptomic and protein network analyses revealed that AMBRA1 depletion enhances MAPK/ERK signaling, angiogenesis, TGF‐β/EMT signaling, and Wnt/axon guidance pathways.

SPG4 and Dementia: Expanding the Clinical Spectrum
ABSTRACT Objective Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) is a group of disorders characterized by progressive spasticity and lower limb weakness, with mutations in SPG4/SPAST being the most common cause. Detailed studies and clinical and molecular comparisons across different populations are missing.

The Role of Calcitonin Gene‐Related Peptide in High‐Altitude Headache: A Prospective Field Study
ABSTRACT Objective High‐altitude headache (HAH) is a common neurological condition associated with rapid ascent to high altitude. The pathophysiological mechanisms underlying HAH remain incompletely understood. Calcitonin gene‐related peptide (CGRP), a neuropeptide implicated in migraine pathophysiology, may play a key role in the pathophysiology of ...
