A Conjectural Cooperative Equilibrium in Strategic Form Games [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2003
This paper presents a new cooperative equilibrium for strategic form games, denoted Conjectural Cooperative Equilibrium (CCE). This concept is based on the expectation that joint deviations from any strategy profile are followed by an optimal and noncooperative reaction of non deviators.

Application of game theory to analyze the competition and cooperation scenarios among container terminals in Northern Vietnam

open access: yesAsian Journal of Shipping and Logistics, 2020
Northern Vietnam plays an important role in Vietnam's national economy. In recent years, the sea-port industry in the area has witnessed an impressive development and fierce competition especially among local container terminals.

Permanence and global stability of a May cooperative system with strong and weak cooperative partners

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2018
In this paper, a May cooperative system with strong and weak cooperative partners is proposed. First, by using differential inequality theory, we obtain the permanence and non-permanence of the system.

Games With Tolerant Players [PDF]

open access: yesElectronic Proceedings in Theoretical Computer Science, 2017
A notion of pi-tolerant equilibrium is defined that takes into account that players have some tolerance regarding payoffs in a game. This solution concept generalizes Nash and refines epsilon-Nash equilibrium in a natural way.

Cooperative distributed constrained model predictive control for uncertain nonlinear large scale systems [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Industrial Electronics, Control and Optimization, 2021
In this paper two linear constrained cooperative distributed extended dynamic matrix control (CDEDMC) and adaptive generalized predictive control (CDGPC) are proposed to control the uncertain nonlinear large-scale systems. In these approaches, a proposed

Cooperative Equilibrium in Biosphere Evolution: Reconciling Competition and Cooperation in Evolutionary Ecology [PDF]

open access: yesActa Biotheoretica, 2021
As our understanding of biological evolution continues to deepen, tension still surrounds the relationship between competition and cooperation in the evolution of the biosphere, with rival viewpoints often associated with the Red Queen and Black Queen hypotheses respectively. This essay seeks to reconcile these viewpoints by integrating observations of

Characterization and Detection of ϵ-Berge-Zhukovskii Equilibria. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
The Berge-Zhukovskii equilibrium is an alternate solution concept in non-cooperative game theory that formalizes cooperation in a noncooperative setting.

Cooperative Equilibrium: A solution predicting cooperative play

open access: yesCoRR, 2014
Nash equilibrium (NE) assumes that players always make a best response. However, this is not always true; sometimes people cooperate even it is not a best response to do so. For example, in the Prisoner's Dilemma, people often cooperate. Are there rules underlying cooperative behavior?

Cooperativity in Binding Processes: New Insights from Phenomenological Modeling. [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
Cooperative binding is one of the most interesting and not fully understood phenomena involved in control and regulation of biological processes. Here we analyze the simplest phenomenological model that can account for cooperativity (i.e.

Weak Berge Equilibrium in Finite Three-person Games: Conception and Computation

open access: yesOpen Computer Science, 2020
The paper proposes the concept of a weak Berge equilibrium. Unlike the Berge equilibrium, the moral basis of this equilibrium is the Hippocratic Oath “First do no harm”. On the other hand, any Berge equilibrium is a weak Berge equilibrium. But, there are
