Sparse cooperative Q-learning [PDF]
Twenty-first international conference on Machine learning - ICML '04, 2004 Learning in multiagent systems suffers from the fact that both the state and the action space scale exponentially with the number of agents. In this paper we are interested in using Q-learning to learn the coordinated actions of a group of cooperative agents, using a sparse representation of the joint state-action space of the agents.

Foolproof Cooperative Learning
CoRR, 2019 This paper extends the notion of learning equilibrium in game theory from matrix games to stochastic games. We introduce Foolproof Cooperative Learning (FCL), an algorithm that converges to a Tit-for-Tat behavior.
