The Evolvability of Cooperation under Local and Non-Local Mutations [PDF]

open access: yesGames, 2015
We study evolutionary dynamics in a population of individuals engaged in pairwise social interactions, encoded as iterated games. We consider evolution within the space of memory-1strategies, and we characterize all evolutionary robust outcomes, as well as their tendency to evolve under the evolutionary dynamics of the system.

On the consistency of multi-robot cooperative localization [PDF]

open access: yesRobotics: Science and Systems V, 2009
In this paper, we investigate the consistency of extended Kalman filter (EKF)-based cooperative localization (CL) from the perspective of observability. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work that analytically shows that the error-state system model employed in the standard EKF-based CL always has an observable subspace of higher ...

Consistent-Innovation-Aided Distributed Cooperative Localization for Multi-UAV Navigation in GNSS-Denied Environments

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Cooperative localization provides a promising solution for multi-UAV navigation in GNSS-denied environments. However, centralized cooperative localization and exact cross-covariance-based distributed methods usually require global state management or ...

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Sustained Therapeutic Efficacy of Intravenous Plasminogen Concentrate in Pediatric Patients With Type 1 Plasminogen Deficiency: An Analysis of Dosing Parameters and Clinical Outcomes

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Cooperative Localization Bounds for Indoor Ultra-Wideband Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2008
In recent years there has been growing interest in ad-hoc and wireless sensor networks (WSNs) for a variety of indoor applications. Localization information in these networks is an enabling technology and in some applications it is the main sought after ...

Cooperative Wireless Networks for Localization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This thesis adresses the problem of localization, and analyzes its crucial aspects, within the context of cooperative WSNs. The three main issues discussed in the following are: network synchronization, position estimate and tracking. Time synchronization is a fundamental requirement for every network.

Guidelines for Pediatric Radiotherapy Simulation: A Report From the Children's Oncology Group Radiation Oncology Discipline

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.

Research on Cooperative Localization Method in Dynamic Networks

open access: yesJournal of Harbin University of Science and Technology
Cooperative localization technology can improve the overall positioning accuracy of the system and nodes through spatial and temporal cooperation among multiple nodes, and it has a broad application demand in the areas that cannot be covered by the ...
