Bispidine coordination chemistry
The rigidity and well-defined size and shape of the bispidine scaffold, as well as the ease of preparing 4- to 10-dentate ligands are the main features for its very rich coordination chemistry.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Electrostatic Binding of Metal Complexes to Electrode Surfaces Coated with Highly Charged Polymeric Films [PDF]
Previous reports in which metal complexes have been attached to electrode surfaces coated with polymeric molecules have depended upon the formation of covalent or coordination bonds in the attachment procedure (1-4).

In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

Coordination chemistry in fused-salt solutions [PDF]
Spectrophotometric work on structural determinations with fused-salt solutions is reviewed. Constraints placed on the method, as well as interpretation of the spectra, are discussed with parallels drawn to aqueous spectrophotometric curves of the same ...
